Hampton’s new grip plates are fully encased in high-quality urethane, preventing scratches to floors and equipment. Urethane is non-porous, therefore easier to clean, more hygienic, and longer lasting than other plate materials. The Hampton Grip plate has a recessed area around the ergonomically curved handles, making it easy to pick up off the floor, and features a steel hub for smooth loading and unloading. Also available in rubber and cast-iron finishes.

The Hampton Olympic Grip Plate premium urethane encased plates are the best looking and excellent quality. The steel reinforced center for the Olympic bar is excellent to prevent wear to both the plates and bar. The grips are excellent for handling the plates. The center of the plates are built up to prevent finger pinching when putting on other places. There was a lot of development put into these plates. I would highly recommend them for anyone who likes the best in weight lifting plates.

I’m so happy I found them and purchased them for my home gym. The urethane feels solid yet soft and high quality. The plates are super easy to grab off the ground and slide onto the bar.
